Our specialty is centered on individual taxation and women owned home/service based small businesses with a focus on the mental health practitioners. With over two decades of individual tax preparation experience, Amber boasts a remarkable journey in taxation. Holding the distinguished title of IRS Enrolled Agent, she stands proudly among a select group of tax professionals acknowledged by the IRS for their exceptional expertise. Additionally, Amber is a Certified Tax Advisor, equipped to implement diverse tax-saving strategies tailored to individuals and small business owners. Amber’s journey into the world of taxes commenced as an Auditor for Connecticut nursing homes, specializing in Medicaid audits. She meticulously honed her craft at renowned CPA firms and commercial tax entities nationwide. Interestingly, her fascination with taxes traces back to her teenage years when, at 16, she independently prepared her tax return. This initial spark evolved into a burning passion as she extended her helping hand to friends and family needing tax assistance. To fuel her insatiable appetite for numbers and taxation, Amber pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central CT State University in 2004, followed by an MBA with honors from DeVry University in 2011. However, destiny had its plans for Amber. A pivotal moment arrived when she was laid off, which propelled her toward seizing control of her fate. Drawing on her profound love for taxes and her innate desire to assist others, she founded Whitehead Tax and Financial Services, LLC, in April 2012. Since its inception, the firm has experienced steady growth and is dedicated to serving individuals and home-based or service-oriented small businesses. Simultaneously, her proficiency in tax debt resolution has provided taxpayers relief from over $100,000 in burdensome debt. Diwani Augustine earned his bachelor degree in Finance (2010) and MBA (2012) from Southern Connecticut State University. Diwani then went on to pursue additional courses at the University of Hartford, earning a certification in accounting. He has worked in the aerospace industry at Pratt & Whitney for the last 6 years in various accounting/finance roles. He currently holds the title of Leaseco Accounting Manager where he specializes in the leasing side of the business.

Aziel Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hampton University and has over 20 years of experience in the field of accounting. With a diverse background holding various titles in accounting, Aziel has honed his skills and knowledge in financial management, budgeting, and reporting. With his passion for numbers and meticulous attention to detail, Aziel thrives on the challenge of organizing and maintaining accurate accounting records. His dedication to helping clients navigate the complexities of financial management and ensuring their accounting records are in order makes him a valuable addition to the team. Beyond his technical skills, Aziel’s genuine care for his clients’ success sets him apart. He takes the time to understand their goals and challenges and works tirelessly to ensure their financial records are concrete, up to date, and reflective of their mission and values.
